Multiple products and affiliate link creation

I’m offering 4 different products for sale on the sales page, and I think the system requires that I set up four different products in the click2sell system…

I’m working though, how does the affiliate need to get their affiliate link?
If they have the link for the first one and someone clicks on it and then buys the second or third product, does the affiliate not get credit then? Or is it set up appropriately?

Thank you for your questions on how to set up your products properly. I checked your website and noticed that you have already Click2Sell.EU order buttons placed on it – so everything is set up correctly. Yes, 4 different products needs to be added separately to the system. But as I see, you have already added them.

Now, each product has it’s own pre-made page for affiliate. You can find these pages here: For Merchant –> My Products –> Edit Settings (click on a certain product) –> Page for Affiliate – there you will find a page to signup affiliates for each product.

You can also help your customers generate their own affiliate links:
http://xxxxx.scraprackscr.click2sell.eu

xxxxx – your affiliate’s username on Click2Sell.EU
scraprackscr – one of your product’s ID in Click2Sell.EU system. It consists of your username + first 3 letters of the product’s name

You affiliates can also search Click2Sell.EU Marketplace for your product and signup to promote there: just tell them to click on Promote link nearby and they will be provided with their own affiliate links.

If your affiliate uses for example one affiliate link and promotes your certain product, but his/her referred customer orders another product, your affiliate will still be credited for making a sale. It doesn’t matter which product your affiliate promotes: they will be credited everytime they bring a real customer for you.

Checkout form suggestions

I was thinking about the new checkout form. Its great, I like the way it looks much better over the last form.

I was thinking that for customers who choose paypal, you might consider only requiring them to enter their first/last name and email, and nothing else to continue.

Right now it asks for city, zip, an address, and actually none of those are needed to checkout with paypal since all his info will be populated on paypal if he logs in, or on paypals own checkout form. He would be double entering his info, which I think could annoy some people.

What do you think about this? Also, putting a * asterisk next to the require fields is a well accepted convention, and that would let people know they know need to fill out everything.

My research shows that the shorter a form is, the more people will fill it out. And the more required fields, the less who complete the form.

Our checkout form is already capable of doing what you want I guess you have just overlooked this feature. As you can see, your current checkout page has credit card fields + personal information box to fill in. When a person selects Paypal payment option, the credit card data table greys out leaving only the personal data.

Please, navigate to: For Merchant –> My Products –> Edit Settings (select your desired product) –> Configure Basic Settings –> STEP2 and untick the ‘Gather additional personal information from buyer’ checkbox. Now, please, check your checkout page: select Paypal and you will notice that now both credit card and personal information boxes grey out and the customer is automatically redirected to Paypal. Our system will extract all customers information from Paypal’s logs and show on your account.

Regarding the asterisks next to the required fields: currently all fields (except phone) are required, so we didn’t put those asterisks.

Moreover, do you know that now you can completely customize purchase confirmation letters that are sent to the customer: just navigate to For Merchant –> My Products –> Edit Settings –> Configure product pages –> Checkout and you will find all capable checkout and purchase confirmation customizations.

How do I get affiliate urls?

I signed up as an affiliate and am tring to put some of your merchants on my wemsite and can`t figure it out, could you direct me!

Thank you for your questions and interest in Click2Sell.EU. I would like to tell you all step by step instructions on how to start promoting a product:
1) Just click on the Martketplace section
2) Navigate in the Marketplace and search for the products of your interest – you can easily find out more about product by clicking on More Info link
3) Once you have found an interesting product, just click on Promote link nearby
4) Your affiliate links will be created and provided for you.
5) Just take these links and start promoting them online or on your website

Is Paypal and Moneybookers account necessary?

Is it necessary to have paypal or moneybookers account to process payment.

If someone dont have account there then what needs to be done. are you people taking some fee for affiliate program.

Thank you for your interest in promoting products as affiliate on Click2Sell.EU. You can select any of the products on Click2Sell.EU and start promoting them. Your visitors must have a credit card and/or Paypal or Moneybookers accounts to pay for the products. It depends on the merchant – which payment methods he/she offers for customers.

Now in order to receive your affiliate commission payments you must have Paypal or Moneybookers accounts. You will be paid within 21 day after the end of the month. We do not charge affiliates any fees at all, so you can start promoting products right now. Thank you for your question on how to pay your affiliate. The sale was made on the 4th of January, so this means that the payment for you to pay your affiliate will be generated on a new settlement generation period: on the 1st of February. So the transaction to pay out your affiliate will appear on your Payments section page right on that date. Then you will be able to pay your affiliate immediately.

Can I change my login name?

Thank you for contacting us regarding the login name change. Currently we have disabled this feature for our members because the account’s login name is tightly connected to all affiliate links and your product ids on the system, so changing one automatically changes all affiliate links and product links. Because of this issue we do not allow our members to change the login names to the members area. In this case, if you really really need to change your accounts login name, simply – create another Click2Sell.EU account with your desired new login.

Affiliate cant find a product

I have an affiliate that is trying to sign up. She has her Click 2 Sell account, however she says that she has not been given any links to put on her site and she can’t find me in the Marketplace. I also looked in the Marketplace and haven’t been able to locate my business. I did add myself to the marketplace, but now can’t find it. I haven’t had any of my other affiliates complain about this, but I was hoping to find the solution in case we had any more issues.

Thank you for reporting this. First of all, I would like to ask you: when did you add your product to Click2Sell.EU? Have you made at least one sale for your product? All products are placed on the Marketplace within 24 hours after the first product’s sale. Maybe that’s why your affiliate can’t find it. Please, make a first sale and then your product will appear on the Marketplace within 24 hours.

Tell me your product’s ID so then I will be able to tell you exactly the reason why it is not on the Marketplace.

Your affiliate can easily create her own affiliate link manually:

where
affiliates-login – your affiliates login to Click2Sell.EU system
productID – your products unique id on the system: it consists of your login+first 3 letters of the product’s name.
You can find your productID by navigating to: For Merchant –> My Products –> Buy Now Links
Your buy links contain the product-id. I.e. http://www.click2sell.eu/buy?product-ID

The example of possible affiliate link: http://johndoe.christypro.click2sell.eu

Your affiliates can also signup via your page for ‘Affiliates’. You can find it by navigating to:
For Merchant –> My Products –> Edit Settings and on this page you will see a link to your pre-made page for affiliates to signup.

Will I be credited for referring visitors?

Whether you refer visitors to your affiliate links via your website to make sales and earn affiliate commissions or promote Click2Sell.EU Referral program online to signup other members to Click2Sell.EU – if you refer a visitor the cookie is placed for 6 months. So if your referred visitor returns to Click2Sell.EU and signups or buys your promoted product within 6 months, you will be credited for referring a member or earn an affiliate commission for promoting Click2Sell.EU.

If someone is referred to the program via my site but does not sign up for the program until couple days after.
Will that count as an referral for me?
