Setting up Google Checkout

I want to set up google checkout to accept orders. However, the
directions dont seem to fit my google checkout account. I do not see a
settings link and I also do not have a google merchant id listed in
the top right corner. My top right corner reads changed@email.com| Google Home | Help | My Account | Sign

I just reviewed the directions to see if they were up to date. It seems
that they’re still up to date.
Are you sure that you logged in to Google Checkout seller account, not
in to Google Checkout buyer account?

You need to have an account not from:
https://checkout.google.com/
but from:
https://checkout.google.com/sell

Please let me know if you did logged in into Seller’s account and didn’t
find the neccessary information.

Cannot find my product on the marketplace

I’ve signed up with click2sell as a merchant and followed all the steps but it doesn’t seem to be registering with your site.
I can’t find my product in your marketplace. My product is called the event makeup artist.

Thank you for your questions regarding your product’s on the Marketplace. I would like to know if you have successfully added your product to Click2Sell.EU and then placed buy buttons on your website? If so, then now all you have to do is just to make your first sale of the product. Then your product will become available on Click2Sell.EU Marketplace. All products must be sold at least once in order to be placed on the Marketplace. It’s a requirement because otherwise there would be a lot of spammy products. Once you have made your first sale of the product, it will appear on the Marketplace within 24 hours.

Membership site with click2sell?

Thank you for your interest to run a subscription based service via Click2Sell.EU. Of course it is possible to run a membership site and accept payments via Click2Sell.EU. All you have to do is just to add a subscription based product. Just navigate to: For Merchant –> Add Product and enter the details of your product. Make sure you select a ‘subscription’ type of product. Then you will be able to specify the payment periods and amounts to charge your customers. Once you are done adding a product, just place the provided buy buttons on your product’s sales page and you will be able to accept recurring payments for your membership website.

Link cloaking and email marketing

Hello Support Team,

As a new affiliate of your system allow me to take some questions.

1. Is there any way of link cloaking that is not allowed (legally, theoretically or that causes conflict with your programs)? As an old affiliate with many marketing programs I use different cloaking scripts, programs, javascripts and html codes.

2. I use email marketing in a successful way. The Agreement that I signed expresses/mentions only direct web page links (in 8.1 paragraph) but does not exclude email marketing. Which is your policy?

3. In my affiliate marketing I usually buy generic domains and redirect them to my affiliate links. I advertise my own domains online and offline with all possible methods (printed classified ads, leaflets, online ezine ads, banner exchange, email, etc.) There is anything that is against your policy and terms of use?

4. As you regulate it affiliates cannot change the measure of any picture/banner that vendors offer as affiliate material. However, can I myself create banners and use them in my marketing in any measure (or I can use only those tools that the merchants offer)?

5. Finally, can I use Adsense or any other PPC methods to generate traffic to the given web site of the merchant directly or through my generic domain/affiliate website indirectly?

I can start a successful and safe affiliate marketing with merchants of your system when I correctly know the answers to these questions.

Thank you very much for all your questions – they are really smart and unique, so I would like to answer them one by one, so you would have a better overall picture what is possible on Click2Sell.EU.
1) All safe ways of affiliate link cloaking is allowed on Click2Sell.EU. Just make sure that your cloaking method does not overwrites/overrides cookies, etc. Iframe (when the actual affiliate link is loaded in a framed page) cloakings are not allowed since it confuses the system and you might not credited properly. All other safe cloaking methods are allowed. When you use a certain cloaking method, just cloak your link first and then enter your cloaked affiliate link to be redirected to the merchant’s website. Then click on the order button and you will be taken to the products checkout page. Search for Affiliate: Your Name line. If you can find an affiliate’s line then it means that the cloaking is working just fine and the system is able to track referred visitors without any problems.

2) You can cloak and use your affiliate links in all of your marketing campaigns (e-mail marketing included) without any restrictions. As I mentioned above, just make sure that your cloaking method does not mess with a tracking system.

3) No, you can use any methods you want to drive traffic to your affiliate links: you can buy expired domains, advertise them online and offline to bring visitors. As long as these are legal ways of advertising, you are allowed to promote your affiliate links without any restrictions.

4) Of course you can create your own banners or any other promotional content to advertise/promote the merchant’s product. You can create banners, articles or even your own landing pages for your promoted affiliate product. Click2Sell.EU provides you with an ability to direct visitors straight to the product’s checkout page via affiliate link bypassing the merchant’s website. Just add /?checkout string at the end of your affiliate link and you will be able to drive visitors right into the promoted product’s checkout page. This feature is very useful if you create your own landing pages and want to bypass the merchant’s sales page.

5) Yes, you can use Pay Per Click advertising companies such as Adwords or Y! Search Marketing to drive traffic to your websites and/or affiliate links both directly and indirectly.

How to receive affiliate commission to Moneybookers if merchant pays only via Paypal?

ive got a question, how will a receive my comissions?
i have a moneybookers account, but not a Paypal… If the product i Promote not accept moneyBookers Account to purchase it, could i receive my comissions? Please help me because i live in paraguay, and i cannot get a Paypal account here…

Thank you for your questions regarding on how to receive affiliate commissions only if you have a Moneybookers account. Our system automatically tells you that your payment processor is not supported by merchant if he/she pays you via Paypal, but you only have Moneybookers account. However, in most cases even if you don’t have a Paypal’s account, you can still promote all products from Click2Sell.EU Marketplace. Once the time comes to pay your affiliate commission, the merchant will be asked to signup on Moneybookers and pay you. A merchant has also another choice: he/she can pay us all your affiliate commissions and then we will pay all the money to your Moneybookers account. One way or the other you can be sure that you will receive your affiliate payments.

Can not find my own listings

Last night I listed two products on Click2Sell, but I can’t find them
live today. They both tested ok. When will these be listed? Thanks

You might have successfully added your product to the system, but it
won’t appear on the Marketplace until you make the first product sale.
Once the first product sale is made, the product will appear on the
Marketplace and all members will be able to see it.

However, you can start using all Click2Sell system’s features right now:
sell your products, accept payments, gather and analyze statistics,
recruit your own affiliates and so on.
No functions were limited by not listing your product in the marketplace.

Thank you for all your questions. I would like to answer all your questions one by one:
1) You don’t need to have your own website to promote affiliate links. You can promote your own affiliate links on forums, ezines (via e-mail marketing) or use pay per click campaigns, other methods. All you have to do is just to bring targeted visitors – traffic to your affiliate links.
2) Well, yes. Actually all you need to do is to bring potential interested visitors to your affiliate links and if they buy your promoted product, you earn an affiliate commission. You can place your links on your website, but if you don’t have it – no problem. Simply promote your affiliate links via other promotional methods online.
3) If your referred visitor orders the product later – within 6 months of time, you will be credited for making a sale. Just bring a visitor. If he/she bookmarks the website and comes back later to order – you can be sure that you will be credited for making a sale.

As i have never done this before, I have questions.
1) Do i need my own URL to paste these links to?
2) Does promoting a product simply mean that I place the link on my page, and then the user clicks it, converts to a sale, then i get paid based on those clicks?(Keep in mind, I know what promoting a product is, but not as it pertains to affiliate marketing). 3) If a user clicks one of my promoted links, goes to the site, bookmarks it, then goes back later for a purchase, am I still getting paid for that sale?

If you want to promote products from Click2Sell.EU Marketplace, all you have
to do is just to visit the Marketplace section and browse through the list
of the products.
Then once you find an interesting product, please, click on Promote link
nearby then your affiliate campaign – link will be created and provided for
you.
Now all you will have to do is just to start promoting that affiliate link
and bring traffic. If your referred visitor buys the product, you will get
an affiliate commission.

Now, regarding the 1 sale rule: we have just implemented it because
otherwise a lot of spammy products appear on the Marketplace. So now all
merchants must make at least
one sale in order to get the product listed on the Marketplace.

That was one of my questions that you have just answered. Thank you for
that.
I am still not clear though on how to create campaigns – I could not find
any button- “create new campaign”. I presume that placing affiliate links
from the top of “promote” page is the way I promote other’s people’s
products and receive commissions. Am I right?

On another topic. Are going to re-consider Click2sell’ policy that product
gets in to Marketplace only after the first sale? I understand that your
network would expand much faster if you lift this restriction, although
you would have to forfeited some profits of “first sale” that might be
made by merchant himself in order to get into Marketplace.

Let me answer your questions one by one.

1. Our system’s support of subscription products is not very robust. All
that the system will do is just to gather the list of subscribers and
calculate income and commissions to affiliates (if there is any). There
won’t be any downloads or links. However, using our API service you can
create a more flexible and powerful way to manage your subscribers: API
could allow you to automatically create things (like accounts, etc.), or
generate a download link and then automatically send an email to a buyer
and so on.

2. It is possible to do that via subscriptions, however keep in mind
that you would need to manually unsubscribe the customer because he/she
will be charged indefinitely otherwise (unless he/she make an
unsubscription himself/herself).
Of course, if you have PayPal Website Payments PRO, Authorize.net or
Worldpay account, then you can accept direct credit cards payments and
thus your buyers could pay you by credit cards.

3. The system is very simple.
You add a product in to the system.
You also provide the necessary data of your merchant accounts (PayPal,
Moneybookers, Worldpay, Authorize.net or Google Checkout). Basically,
this is the part where you setup what payment options your customers
will have. For example, if you setup PayPal and Moneybookers accounts,
then your customers will be able to pay you by PayPal or Moneybookers.
So if you want your customers to be able to pay you by PayPal or credit
cards, there are two ways:

a) setup only PayPal account. In this way, your customers will be
redirected from Click2Sell checkout page to PayPal checkout page and
they will be able to pay you by PayPal funds or by credit card.

b) setup your PayPal account and PayPal Website Payments PRO,
Authorize.net or Worldpay account. In this way, your customers could pay
you by credit card directly in Click2Sell checkout page – OR – they can
go to PayPal checkout page and pay by PayPal funds or credit card from
there.

You don’t need to setup product prices in those accounts (e.g., PayPal).
Everything related to a product is setuped in product adding process.

How Do I Pay You?

Hi, I am considering utilizing your service, but I am still confused
about something. I understand that you take a percentage/commission of
each sale from the merchant. How do you get that payment? Is it
automatically deducted from each sale somehow? Or, do I have to pay

Please let me explain the system of payments. In the beginning of every
month merchants receive invoices to pay Click2Sell fees and affiliate
commissions for the whole previous month. They will pay lump sums for
each affiliate and Click2sell and they will have to do this within 21 days.

The money are not taken automatically from you (however, it will be
changed soon). To pay commissions and fees you need to have PayPal or
Moneybookers account.
