Direct affiliate link to sale + gift

Hi, I read on your forum that is possible for an affiliate to build
his own landing/sales page that links directly to the billing page.
Which is great and I’ve been looking for that for a while. I would
like to also offer a free bonus (only available if product is bought
with my affiliate link). Is there a way for me verify the email
address of the customer in order to be able to send via email the
bonus? Here is some specification: I will keep the same layout as the
seller’s page, but will only add a description of the bonus report.
The bonus will, of course, be related to the product developed by the
seller. I wish to do this in an ethical manner. Thanks

Yes, it is possible to redirect your visitors directly to the billing
page, indeed. I’m glad to see that you like this feature.

The problem with your plan is that buyers will be redirected to a
thank-you page provided by a merchant. So you can’t manually edit the
page without asking the merchant. You would need to place your bonus
description in a landing-page.

Regarding email addresses of buyers.
You can find such information in member area by clicking on “Reports” ->
“Transactions”.
There you will find email addresses of buyers.
You will also receive a message after each your made sale. The message
will contain buyer’s email address as well.

Affiliate link types

Which Affiliate Link should I use. the regular one or the one used at
check-out. Thanks, Ken Mikel

It depends on your promotion style.

Just understand the difference between those two links:

1) the first affiliate link will redirect your referred people to
merchant provided product’s sales-page. So if someone clicks on your
affiliate link, he/she will come to product’s sales-page.

2) the second one (with ?checkout ending) will redirect your referred
people directly to product’s checkout page (just see it yourself). If
someone clicks on such affiliate link, he/she will instantly see the
order form, so naturally you need to tell your referred people about the
product beforehand.
If you create a website for your promoted product where you put all the
information about it and persuade visitors to buy the product, then
naturally you need to use 2) type affiliate link as there is no need to
redirect your visitors to yet another product’s website.

Payments

Hello, I have a quick question in regards to affiliate payouts. Am I
able to payout more than what it might show is due to paid out?
Example: If I owe an affiliate $57.00, am I able to raise the that
payment to $107.35, for a bonus? Thanks

thanks for contacting us!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay more or less for already
generated invoices to pay affiliate commissions. So if you want to send
additional money to your affiliate, you can send it manually from your
PayPal account.

However, you can manually adjust commission percentage for certain
affiliates. Just go to “For Merchant” -> “My Affiliates” page and there
you can setup custom commission rates for some affiliates. In this way
you can raise the commission rate for your successful affiliates while
keeping the default commission rate for all other affiliates. From the
moment you setup a custom commission rate (e.g., raise from 50% to 75%)
an affiliate will get higher payouts for his/her referred sales.

Question about how the affiliate settings work

1. Does each product have a separate affiliate program? Is it possible to pay the same affiliate on multiple products with a single affiliate link?
2. If a product is recurring, does it credit the affiliate for every payment made or just the first?

Thank you for all your questions and interest in Click2Sell.EU. Now I will answer them one by one.
1) Each product has a separate affiliate program – affiliate link and a special pre-made page for ‘Affiliates’. So all your products are listed on the Marketplace separately. Yes, it is possible to pay the same affiliate on multiple products even though he/she promotes only one of your products. Actually, if your affiliate selects to promote one of your products and bring visitors to the affiliate link, but a certain visitor ends up on buying one of your other products sold on Click2Sell.EU (even though affiliate does not promote that certain product via affiliate link), your affiliate will still be credited for the sale made.
2) If you have a recurring billing product, then your affiliates will be credited for the first sale and all recurring payments – as long as the referred member stays subscribed to your monthly subscription service.

I cant see my product on the Marketplace

I just added a product to the marketplace, but I do not see it when I look in the categories I placed it in.
Do I have to make a sell before it appears in the marketplace?

In order for your product to appear on the marketplace, you must place Click2Sell.EU buy buttons on your product’s sales page and then make at least one sale. After the first sale, your product will appear on Click2Sell.EU marketplace within 24 hours. We have implemented this 1 sale rule in order to avoid a lot of spam products. All products listed on Click2Sell.EU Marketplace are the active ones.

Need Help With Selecting a Promotion Item from Marketplace

I have found the item I want to promote but when I click “promote” I get a list of links but nothing comes up in my campaign list. Am I doing something wrong? What step am I missing to be prompted for the naming fields that I read about in the affiliate user guide?

Actually you must visit the affiliate link for the first time yourself or bring at least one visitor to the link, then our system will create a campaign for you and you will be able to find it by navigating to: For Affiliate –> My Campaigns page.

Graphics Banners?

Thank you for your questions regarding the promotional product’s banners. Of course you can request them from merchants. Just login to your Click2Sell.EU account and navigate to the Marketplace. Search for the product of your interest and then click on ‘More Info’. There you will find a merchant’s name and you will be able to click and contact the merchant. Please, ask for the promotional tools. Some merchants do place their own banners on Click2Sell.EU system, however some of them just place them on their websites. We encourage all merchants to provide banners for affiliates, however everything depends on the merchant.

PayPal payment recipient problems

Hi,

I just made my first successful test buy for my product, but I have a few questions/concerns:

1. My main account e-mail at PayPal is sales@ . However, for this product I have added info@ to my PayPal account. When I set the receiving account for this product at info@ it gives me errors saying that the payment is sent to the wrong account. Please let me know how to fix this so that payments for this product are sent to info@ instead of sales@.

2. Is it possible to specify what is used as the PayPal header text when the purchase is being made?
It looks much better if I’m able to use the name of the product as the header text, instead of the email address that is receiving the payment (which is another reason to use info@ as the receiving end for payments, see #1 above). Please let me know how and where to specify the header text at PayPal. Obviously this information is sent by Click2Sell, so it must be possible to change it as wel… Many thanks in advance, please let me know if you need clarification.

Thank you for all your questions regarding the configuration of your Paypal account. Now, I will answer them one by one with all the explanations, so you would better understand the whole process.
1) Today we have noticed in our servers’ logs that you were trying to send a payment to your info@ account, however you’ve got a ‘wrong receiver error’. The Paypal returned a wrong e-mail response thus our fraud protection and prevention system didn’t let you go further. Then we noticed from another log that you have fixed this issue by changing your e-mail to sales@ and then the test purchase went just fine.

Actually there is an issue with your Paypal’s account configuration on Click2Sell.EU and your own Paypal account.
The problem is that you have added a few email addresses to your PayPal account. The main email address (sales@) in your PayPal account is
different from your entered PayPal address in Click2Sell (info@).

So once a purchase takes place, PayPal returns us a different PayPal email which doesn’t match with your PayPal email in Click2Sell, thus anti-fraud prevention doesn’t allow you (or buyers) to continue, since it’s not possible to verify if the payment was transfered to the correct person (you).

To solve this problem you have two ways:

a) Make info@ as main PayPal mail (in PayPal account options).

or

b) Replace info@ to sales@ in Click2Sell account (just like you did now) (My Profile -> My Payment Processors)

After doing one of these, your main PayPal email and email address entered in Click2Sell will match and thus anti-fraud protection won’t be triggered. Right now I see that you have changed your PayPal mail to sales@ , so now everything works just fine. Your customers won’t come to dead-end until you make
necessary changes.

If you are satisfied with such change, then you don’t need to do anything more. If you decide to do A scenario, then don’t forget to re-map PayPal account in your Click2Sell account (My Profile -> My Payment Processors).

2) Yes, it is possible to specify for Paypal which header text to show. Such things are configured on your Paypal account. Just login to your Paypal account and go to your Profile. There you will find selling/merchant’s settings. Just go to: Profile –> Account Information – Business Information link. And then enter your Business Name. Then this information will be shown on Paypal’s payment pages – as header text.

How to get the customers data along with the order?

Thanks for your instant reply. Just have one more question at the time… Will I receive a copy of the information that you request from customers, so far as their name, address, etc? If so, I’ll be able to remove this information from the form that I have made.

Thank you for your question on how to get the customer’s data. Once your customer orders the product and pays for it, Click2Sell.EU system automatically records all his personal data along with e-mail address to your account. In order to view this data just navigate to: Reports –> Transactions Report
and you will see your made sales. The customer’s name and e-mail address along with the country will be displayed. Now, please, click on the transction and you will see the transaction details. At the bottom of transaction details page you will find ‘View Order’ link. Just click on this link and you will see all your customers entered information such as name, address, e-mail address, ordered product, amount paid and other sale information.

Approval to promote some products

I want to know how to get approval from those products that require approval from the owners.
How do I contact them, and get authorisation ?

Thank you for your questions regarding the product’s approval process. Some merchants select to approve affiliates manually. So when an affiliate signs up to promote a product, it is added automatically to the merchant’s list of affiliates on page. Then the merchant must APPROVE or DENY the affiliate. You can easily contact the merchant using a simple contact form. Just navigate to the Marketplace and search for a product that requires merchant’s approval. Once you find it, please, click on ‘More Info’ link and you will find all the details of the product. You can click on the merchant’s name and e-mail it with your questions and request for a product’s approval.

Once you are approved by merchant, your affiliate link will start working.
