Let me answer your questions one by one.

1) Click2Sell is a platform for merchants to sell their products, track
various statistics and be able to have their own affiliates, while
affiliates can find products for promotion and earn money from referred
buyers. Money earning depends on what exactly you want to do.

If you have your own product and want to sell it using Click2Sell, you
just have to add your product’s description into Click2Sell system, get
codes of “buy-now” buttons and paste them into your sales-page or website.

If you don’t have any product, you can promote others product and earn
commissions from your referred buyers. There is an article which
explains the steps of how to start promoting others products:

2) You can find all products that are publicly available in Click2Sell
marketplace:

3) If you are going to sell your own product/service, then it is
required to have your own hosting, because you will need to have a page
for representing your product/service. You don’t need a lot of space,
because you can host your product’s file (if it’s downloadable) in our
secured servers.
If you are going to promote others’ products, then a hosting is not
necessary, because your affiliate links will lead to products’ pages
provided by merchants. However it can help you to achieve better results.

4) Basically, there are no limits in marketing tools, except spam and
other offensive tools are strictly not allowed. So you can use article
marketing, opt-in mailing lists, PPC advertising and so on.

5) We don’t provide any such tool.

6-7) As an affiliate you need to have PayPal or Moneybookers account in
order to start working with Click2Sell. If you don’t have any of these
accounts, then it won’t be possible to receive payments for you.
As a merchant you will need to have PayPal, Moneybookers, Worldpay,
Authorize.net or Google Checkout merchant account.

We do not limit joining countries, so you can definitely join Click2Sell.

8) Your earned money will be transferred to your PayPal or Moneybookers
account.
If you are selling your own product, then you will get money directly to
your PayPal, Moneybookers, Worldpay, Authorize.net or Google Checkout
merchant account.

9) As a merchant you can accept payments in USD, EUR or GBP.
As an affiliate, it would depend on your PayPal or Moneybookers
account’s settings in which currency you’ll get your affiliate commissions.

10) There are no starting costs for joining Click2Sell. There you will
pay only for actually made sales. If you don’t make any sale, then you
won’t pay anything.
Our pricing is very simple. It is:

$1 for transaction sum of 0 – 19.99 usd
$2 for transaction sum of 20 – 39.99 usd
$3 for transaction sum of 40+ usd.

There are no other fees: no setup, no upgrade, no support, no file
hosting, no monthly or any other fee.

11 – 12) It is really impossible to say. There is no minimum. It depends
on your skills a lot. You may earn hundreds per hour or zero per day.
$200/day is not easy to achieve, but definitely possible. However, it
will require a lot of marketing, internet and computer skills.

I have a product I want to sell through your site, I was just wondering what fee’s apply and what is the policy.
How much do I need to start and how much is it per month?

Skip click2sell checkout page

Hi,

I am the webdesigner. I am currently setting up their affiliate program, and have ticked the box in the edit product settings box to ‘Skip Click2Sell Checkout Page’. I want my payment button to go straight to paypal, as the only choice in the control panel.
I have tried to test buy, but am seeing the Secure check out form from click2sell., so obviously the control panel is not reading my ticked box!

Can you mend it please.

Secondly the postage is included in the price, so I have added 0.00 to the obligatory field. Is that correct?

Thank you for your questions about Click2Sell.EU and how it all works. Now I would like to answer all your questions and explain how you can make our system work for your benefit. I have just checked your product and noticed that your product is ‘material’. Because of this, this ‘Skip Click2Sell Checkout Page’ feature doesn’t work. All material products require order shipping information, because of this, such ‘skip to checkout page’ feature is disabled for material products.

Test purchase allows you to test the whole purchase procedure – how it all works, how customer is redirected, etc.

Regarding the shipping cost: alright, you can set it to be 0.00 and our system won’t change any additional shipping charges.

Michelle, if you really want to have this ‘Skip Click2Sell Checkout Page’ feature working, you can simply change your product’s type from material to downloadable and then this feature will work without any problems. You can do this by navigating to: For Merchant –> My Products –> Edit Settings (click on your product) –> Configure Basic Settings –> STEP1. If the system does not allow you to change the product’s type, simply just re-create your product as a downloadable.

Adding affiliate tools

Hi

I can see how to add tools for my affiliates but the working scenario is not clear. Once I add banner how does the affiliates link code get attached ? How do affiliates find these tools ..do i set up my own page ? if so where do i get id embeded links to offer affiliates

Dear Roy,

I would like to explain you how to set up your promotional tools for affiliates. All you have to do them is just to upload to Click2Sell.EU system. Please, navigate to: For Merchant –> My Products –> Edit Settings (click on a certain product’s) –> Add Tools
There you will be able to upload your banners, pre-written articles, e-mail letters and other promotional content.
All affiliate links are generated in this way: http://affiliates-login.productid.click2sell.eu.
affiliates-login – affiliate’s Click2Sell.EU login
productid – your unique product’s id: your own login name + first 3 letters of the product (you can find this id at the end of your http://www.click2sell.eu/buy?link-here) – just visit your Get Links page

It would be the best if you could set up your own page for Affiliates with all the banners placed, etc. However, we also provide a pre-made page for Affiliates: just navigate to For Merchant –> My Products –> Edit Settings and there you will find an url to your page for Affiliates.

Your affiliates will be able to find your banners on your product’s Marketplace “More Info” page or on your pre-made page for Affiliates (in your website).

Differences in ppc visitors and Click2Sell.EU stats

Thanks. I actually found the check token link after I sent this email so I got that covered. I wasn’t using iframe. I was using the <img tag with an href link to the original web site and a 1×1 pixel size but I am taking that out. I admit I don’t know how to do that properly and I am not sure I am sending traffic to my affiliate cookie that way. I also had an <img tag with an src to a real image from the original web site as well. I don’t know if that is messing things up.

The problem is, I have been doing some PPC advertising. I am getting a lot of clicks but hardly any visitors. For example 84 click on my PPC account and only 4 visitors. I am wondering how doing this offsite pitch page is effecting my stats. Or, is someone else getting the credit. I am curious because I see that another affiliate (on that I referred) is getting average 2 sales per day where I have only got 1 sale total. Is he getting my traffic somehow?

I’m glad to hear that you found that ?checkout token link yourself. Anyway, I’ve just checked your website to see your placed affiliate links. I can 100% assure you that your links are placed correctly and visitors can easily order your product. I clicked on your buy now link and visited your checkout page: the affiliate tracking system works properly and affiliate: Robert is shown at the bottom of checkout page. So you have placed your affiliate links correctly.

Now all you have to do is just to promote your pitch page online and if the customer orders your product, you will get an affiliate commission. I can assure you that your referred other affiliate who promotes the same product, does not get your sales since he drives its own visitors who buy product. Perhaps try to improve your pay per click campaigns and the sales will happen. 84 clicks on your pay per click ad is a very small number of visitors, give at least 400-500 hundred of clicks and then see if you have any sales. Your Click2Sell.EU account shows only 4 visitors just because affiliate link only records the visitors who actually click on your affiliate link – in your case: goes to the products checkout page from your page. That’s why there are differences.

Please, note that Paypal has some restrictions on countries: some account holders are able to send money, but cannot receive them. So if you can receive payments to Paypal account, then you will have no problems receiving your affiliate commission payments. Moreover, you can also use your Moneybookers.com account to receive payments on Click2Sell.EU.

Affiliate commission payment periods

How many days you are going to pay if i have commissions, 30 days or 15 days…

Thank you for your questions regarding the affiliate commission payments. All affiliate payments are done every 30 days (once in a month) within 21 day after the end of a certain month. So this means that if you make sales on January, you will be paid within 21 day (until the 22nd of February) for all your sales made on January. You might be paid on the 1st of February, while you might also be paid on the 21st of February – it depends on the payments payment schedule.

Will test purchase make my product appear on the Marketplace?

Does a test purchase count as the purchase you need to get your product to show up in the marketplace? Will this mean I have to pay you a fee now? I am very confused on this matter.

Thank you very much for asking about the test purchase and the 1st product sale rule. Now I would like to explain you everything.
Test purchase is a feature that can be found on: For Merchant –> My Products –> Test Buy. It’s intention is to help you test your product’s setup and see if everything is set up correctly. It is only for your own purposes to check the product. During a test purchase you can set whatever amount you want, send the money as a payment and see how everything works for your customer. Test buy feature is completely free and you don’t have to pay any fees for Click2Sell.EU for doing it. You can do as much test buys as you want – it’s especially designed to test everything. Test purchases do not appear on your Reports or any other stats.

Now, you need to make a first real sale of your product through your provided Click2Sell.EU payment buttons in order for it to appear on the Marketplace. Once you have made a first sale, your product will be listed on the Marketplace within 24 hours. You will have to pay fees for real purchases. All your reports’ stats will show visitors/sales and other statistical information for such purchases.

How to direct visitors into checkout page bypassing a sales page via affiliate link

Is there a way to drive traffic to someones offer BUY page without going to their sales page?
I have created my own “pitch page” and want to drive people from that directly to click2sell. I copied the link from the original sale page and used that but I am checking stats and I am getting a lot of clicks on my ad but the stats are not showing up on here. So, I am assuming I am sending traffic but it’s not picking up my affiliate ‘cookie’.
I should mention, the guy offering the product knows I am doing this and is okay with it.

Thank you very much for your question on how to drive visitors straight to Click2Sell.EU product’s checkout page. It’s really great that you create your own pitch – landing pages for products. Now, all you have to do is just to add a simple ?checkout token at the end of your affiliate link and all the visitors will be directed straight to the order page bypassing the merchant’s sales page.

For example: if your affiliate link looks similar to this
http://your-login.product-id.click2sell.eu
simply add a small token at the end of this url
http://your-login.product-id.click2sell.eu/?checkout

and all the visitors will be directed straight to the product’s order page.
You can find such affiliate link, just navigate to: For Affiliate –> My Campaigns –> Links page and you will find your direct link to product’s checkout page under this: Your affiliate link (directly to product’s checkout page).

Now, please, tell me: do you use any sort of link cloaking, etc? If so, could you please, show me your affiliate links? Iframes are bad for cloakings, so make sure if you use link cloakings, do not use it with iframes.

You can check it out if affiliate cookie is ‘picked up’ by the system: just clean your browsers cookies first, then enter your affiliate link (whether the standard one or that one that leads straight to the checkout) and check for affiliate: Your Name at the bottom of the page. You should definitely see your name. If there is no name, then it means that you are using bad cloaking methods, while if you see your name – your affiliate link works just fine.

Cannot issue Paypal refunds

Hi,

I tried to issue a refund by clicking the Issue Refund button but nothing
happened so I’ve had
to issue the refund in Paypal. I still need to flag them in your system
though so that I don’t
need to pay affil commission or have any charges for them.

For all of these I tried the refund button without success. I use Firefox
if that makes any difference?

Thanks for letting us know this. Please, navigate to: My Profile –> My
Payment Processors section on your Click2Sell.EU account and click on
Paypal’s e-mail. Please, check if your API credentials are entered. I guess
you haven’t entered your Paypal API credentials, so our system cannot
connect via background to Paypal and issue refunds when you click on
‘Refund’ button on Click2Sell.EU. In order to make refunds work for you,
just follow the instructions and enter all required API information and save
it.

Once you have done it, the refund buttons will work automatically. Anyway,
since you issues the refunds via Paypal already, you don’t need to do
anything additionally, since our system automatically receives all
transaction notifications from Paypal, so your transactions should be
already adjusted and marked as refunded on Click2Sell.EU system. You can
check this out by selecting to ‘Include Refunds’ on the Transaction Report.
